Meet Joe Marchbanks
Joe Marchbanks’s story in the automotive industry started in 1997, just a month before he married his wife, Staci. He began as a technician apprentice at a local Chevrolet dealership while attending TCJC's automotive apprentice program, and it didn't take long for him to find his niche. Over the next 12 years, Joe built a reputation across dealerships in the DFW metroplex as an electrical and HVAC specialist, developing a depth of knowledge most technicians never reach.
In the early 2010s, as the industry shifted toward more advanced diagnostics and engine technology, Joe leaned into the challenge. Over the following decade, he earned the GM Master Technician ranking, one of the highest levels of certification in the industry, and stepped into a mentorship role, training the next generation of technicians. That experience shaped something bigger than a career milestone: it showed Joe that the best way to truly serve his community was to open a shop of his own.
Joe's Garage opened in 2021, giving Joe the chance to mentor young technicians directly and deliver a level of service he believes is hard to find anywhere else. As Joe puts it, "we are a people-first business that happens to work on cars." That principle shows up in everything from how we explain a car repair to how we treat every customer who walks through the door.
